Heraclitus against the Naïve Paratactic Metaphysics of Mere Things

This article considers an interpretative model for the study of Heraclitus, which was first put forward by Alexander Mourelatos in 1973, and draws upon a related Julius Moravcsik beginning 1983. I further develop this combined provide motivation interpretation Heraclitus. is also interest modern metaphysics due to recurrence structurally similar problems, including ‘colour exclusion’ problem that faced Wittgenstein. Further, employ shed new light on Heraclitus’ image river, while relating potential readings various contemporary metaphysical views.
